Laura has a BS in Nursing, and worked for over 40 years, mostly in Labor and Delivery in hospitals. She and her husband have two daughters and have lived in Florida since 1979. They have always had pets, and could not imagine ever living without at least one companion animal. Their daughters have continued their love of pets with several dogs and cats each. Laura also volunteers for Get a Life Pet Rescue.
Laura says, "I think that it is criminal to see single, elderly citizens denied the benefits of animal companionship."
