| Beware - just because a development allows pets, rules can change. If they do change, your existing pets should be grandfathered in, but you may be prevented from replacing your pets down the line. This caution is of particular concern for new housing areas, because developers tend to have less restrictive rules to try to sell out as quickly as possible. |
The forward-looking Acts Retirement Life Communities' Florida Retirement Communities all have reasonable pet rules. They currently have locations in Boca Raton, and elsewhere in Florida in Vero Beach and Pensacola. They also have communities in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama. They feature independent living with transition to assisted living.

This house is priced to move. If you visit www.zillow.com and look up the price of 3 bedroom 2 bath homes in Margate , FL you'll find that they're $242,000 (for 1740 sq foot homes comparable to this home). The current Zillow estimate (as of this writing) for my home is $218,280. My home is already a good value, but to make it even better I decided to price it at only $185,000!
